GCSC is providing the training. GCSC will provide the course evaluation to the employer, whose responsibility it is, to certify their employee as Qualified to be a Competent Person for Trench and Excavation work. 06.27.24 & 06.28.24 - Supervisory Training Education Program (STEP) 7:00AM – 3:00PM This 2-day instructor led course is intended for current front-line supervision and future potential employees being considered for supervision. 07.18.24 - Electrical Safety in the Workplace (a review of NFPA 70E) 7:00AM – 2:00PM This 7-hour instructor led course covers NFPA 70E Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace®. The intent is to review the latest version of NFPA 70E which focuses on the safe work practices that employees should use to work safely with electricity. The material covers workplace injuries and fatalities due to electrocution, shock and arc flash as well as arc blast.
